FAQ.
» CAN MY CHARACTER SEND TEXT/TXT MESSAGES TO ANOTHER CHARACTER?
Yes, but keep in mind that while text messaging service was available in 1999, it didn't become a popularized method of communication until 2003. If your character is from 2003 and beyond, however, you can easily reason their usage of it with their previous experience with it in their own timeline.
»I WAS A MEMBER OF THIS GAME BEFORE THE RESTART. CAN I RETURN?
Yes. Just state as much on the application post. If it was a character previously played by you in the game that is not yet taken, you may return with them without filling out an application. If they are a new character, you need to fill out an application, but you are not required to provide samples if you are a returning player. This only applies to people who did not return immediately for the restart. Any players who were removed for inactivity or dropped will need to provide new samples.
» MY CHARACTER HAS INVINCIBLE/GOD-LIKE POWERS, CAN HE/SHE USE THEM HERE?
Good question! That's a matter of debate that varies from character to character, as well as the player in the sense of being responsible enough to not take advantage of such abilities and use them to meta-game and god mod. With a character such as Claire Bennet from Heroes, she can use the full extent of her invincibility, as it does not interfere any with the game's premise or the setting's canon. Characters such as say, Belldandy from Ah! My Goddess would, depending on player intentions, would have a limitation on their power. ICly, this would be viewed as the something the invisible barrier that prevents characters from leaving Angel Grove has done to them upon their arrival. Our best advice would be: when in doubt, ask a mod. Chances are we'll let you do what you want, but you can never be too careful! We would like to avoid stepping on the toes of other players and preventing IC conflicts from developing into OOC drama.
» ARE THE POWER RANGERS THE ONLY ONES ALLOWED TO FIGHT THE MONSTERS?
Of course not! If your character encounters a monster or a lackey, feel free to fight them if your character can take them on--or even if they can't! Have them try and fail. That's up to you and something that will surely annoy the Rangers as things have more or less always been under their control. Chaos, remember, is a key factor in this game.
» MY CHARACTER IS A VAMPIRE, CAN THEY TURN ANYONE INTO VAMPIRES?
Yes, your vampire character may sire another character as long as you have permission from the player of the other character to do so. If siring gets out of hand, we may put a limitation on it, but for now, there are no other rules regarding it.
» WHY CAN THE RANGERS LEAVE USING THE ASTRO MEGASHIP, BUT OTHER CHARACTERS CAN'T EVEN LEAVE THE CITY?
Simply put, this is done to ensure that the game takes place in one centralized area, as it makes game management easier, as well as making it less difficult for members to keep track of who's where and doing what. The Rangers, yes, can leave using their ship, but they can only move between Angel Grove and the ship--and the ship can only leave during plot-essential moments. To which, if by one of those points, your character is buddy-buddy enough with the Rangers to be invited to the ship? Your character can go with them! Mainly, the Astro Megaship is being used as the Command Center.
» WHERE IS THE COMMAND CENTER, ANYWAY?
The original Command Center was destroyed at the end of the Alien Rangers arc of the third and final season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The outside temple-looking building was reconstructed, but what was once inside was located in an underground chamber known as the Power Chamber. That, however, was destroyed at the end of Power Rangers Turbo. Thus, the Astro Megaship is being used as the Rangers' base operations, as it did during Power Rangers in Space.
» MY CHARACTER IS A RANGER, BUT THEY'VE BEEN MULTIPLE RANGERS. CAN THEY MOPRH INTO ALL OF THEIR FORMS?
No. You must pick one of their forms--such as with Tommy and Adam--and stick to it. You can, however, make changes to that when the opportunity presents itself (such as during a plot, magic, canon updating, etc), but it's best to ask a mod first.
